Branch Christmas Party....

We attended our branch Christmas party on Saturday night. There was a program of songs, dances, and skits. We even recited "Twas' the Night Before Christmas" for them and gave it a Costa Rican twist. They seemed to really enjoy it. Some of the primary kids singing....
Some of the youth performing a dance. They recently won a competetion that was held for the LDS youth all over this region. It was very fast and included many rhythms including the Samba. The closest thing we could compare it to would be the Road Shows that our kids used to participate in. After dinner, the children received gifts. Their faces lit up.....
This is little Neilyn (Honorio's daughter) and her little brother, Mario, in the background.
Deilyn (Ginette and Jairo's daughter) with her new toys and cute Santa suit...Hermana Munroe serving up a Texas sheetcake that she made.....

  1. Hi You Two.
Boy are we ever behind in writting to you. We do think of you so often tho. Heres somethings we have been doing. In Oct we picked up our daughter in San Diego & went up to Oregon & Washington & went to 3 beautiful Temples. Coming back to Susies we did alot of sightseeing to some really neta places. Also went to Eugene Org to see if we could find the place where Mick,Susie & I lived many years ago. It was till there & we were excited about that. When Mick I returned home our daughter Denise) & her family that lives in Mesa came for a couple days. That was good to have them here. They got to visit with Micks Mom for awhile (shes 93) then we had our sons family over for bar-b-que. It was nice to have part of our family together once in awhile. In Nov we spent Thanksgiving with Denise & her family. That was good also. In Dec Susie flew home for Christmas as she does most of the time. We always enjoy her visits. She such a special person. We had Steve & his family with us on the 23rd & went out to see Micks Mom again. Came back to our home & had Navajo tacos & played games. Then Christmas Eve afternoon we again went Mesa to spend the rest of that day & part of Christmas Day with Denise & her family then came home & went to our daughter-in-laws family & friend for Christmas dinner. All in all everything is going well for the 2 of us. We sure enjoy your letters & pictures. The people you are meeting & places you are getting to see.
Will try & do better with the letter writting this coming year.Hope this finds you well & happy.
    Love Mick & Earlene
