Welcome to Costa Rica....

We welcomed Royce, Susan, and their 5 boys to Costa Rica last week. They have come to spend 3 weeks of their summer vacation exploring this beautiful country. We have had fun spending time with them and are glad that they came to visit us and see where we have been serving. Royce traveled to Costa Rica with us, as well as Sandi, a few years ago and he has talked about bringing his family here ever since that trip. Well, it has now become a reality! 3. We enjoyed looking at your blog for two months of your mission and will look at all of it! How fun to have your family come visit for 3 weeks! I would really like to do the zip line; is that allowed for the Sr. missionarios? And I didn't know you could have a mission where you got to bake cakes and cookies with the little kids! Great times! Get to see any Maya ruins? Thanks for your service and your graciousness.

  4. Mark, you would be surprised what Senior missionaries can do! Glad you enjoyed our blog. Did you see the chairs that we sit on at church? They are so old that we think the Lamanites made them and may have used them to torture the Nephites by making them sit on them. Be sure to see the Crocodile pic's and video. No we haven't seen the Maya ruins....they are more north of us like Nicaragua and Guatemala.
