Hermana Munroe held a small Christmas Visiting Teaching luncheon at our home on Tuesday. She invited the Hermanas that she visits each month and the Hermanas that visit her. They started out with a small spiritual thought about the importance of the Savior and how we need to share the "Light and Life of Christ" through our actions and service. She made a bookmark for each sister to use in their scriptures and to remember the nice day together as Hermanas. Rice, beans, and beef or chicken are typical items that are served for lunch and dinner in Costa Rica. Hermana Munroe decided to change the routine and introduce the Hermana's to some new recipes. She served rolls filled with pineapple & almond chicken salad, pasta salad, Doritos, a relish plate, and cupcakes for dessert.
